Can't help wondering if it's becuase Cuco Martina's not a fashionable winner for them, and they were worried he'd come out top of the voting?

 

They did explain themselves...because there were more phases involved in the goal. Probably fair enough.

 

No it was because, in Boaty McBoatface style, they feared that there would be another gang up by one club's fans to make sure a particular goal would win. Which is why Jack Wilshere won the last two years from vote rigging.

When I saw the goals being played over, the three that stood out were Cuco's, Vardy's and Ali's. And I knew the pundits would pick Ali's because it had three parts to the shot which Ali had to complete to successfully score. All three were worthy nominations though.

 

Also, is anybody going to pay for the Bournemouth fans trip so they can watch the game.? It's bad enough that in all certainty, many of them won't be able to go anyway because its midweek, but to expect them to get upto Manchester out of their own pocket,twice in a few days, is asking a lot of ordinary people. And ManU should pay, not the Cherries.
