Then we have the thread itself, one of the biggest wum **** ups ever, then we have Spurs drawing Arsenal in the europey pot, then we have Arsenal are an embarrassment in europe, right before you got tonked by Dortmund, then we have Spurs will take 6 points of of Arsenal, then we have Spurs will crush Arsenal ,then we have your **** up over S106, then another **** up over Bodmin 'gaol', several **** ups trying to wum the Scousers who have got to the final of the Europey pot.

And those are just the ones off of the top of my head, the list is endless It's going to be a long summer for you with me digging out the best bits

 

So when did Spurs last finish 2nd then ?

 

As I said, nothing!

It's desperate that you take obvious bits of banter, and try to wum them into something more than they are.

I, on the other hand, have been ripping the piss out of you for several years, creating many memorable lines and sketches, that countless posters have enjoyed - and probably continue to enjoy - over and over again. I will continue to do that, of course.

 

So it's just banter when you've been shown up as a wum failure, I see.

And as proven this week, the 'lads' have been in stitches over your classic jokes

it isn't a difficult question and one that any Spurs fan worthy of his salt should know the answer to.

i will give you a clue - it's over 50 years ago.

Watford, Ipswich and QPR have finished second more recently than Spurs.

Ok I have to ask, because both set of fans of the North London clubs do this, and its cringeworthy as ****.
But can I ask why both sets of fans think, on any level, that a suitable, or at least credible comeback when one "One ups" the other is to say, (And I will do this in my best phonetic spastic typing voice as I can)
"Dey sellebwating lark dey won da leeg!"
or the equally as ****ing ******ed and similar
"Dis woz dere cup Farnal!"

Because seriously, every time you play each other, and one team wins, the losing set of fans says one or both of these statements.

Losing side.....you realise they are celebrating because your teams have a fierce rivalry and whichever team felt they were on top probably gave the other team huge amounts of ****. So if they lose, its going to be rubbed in their faces....a lot......
Just realise this and stop making these statements, because I cringe so much every time the statement is made......

 

I don't think it's a big deal to finish below your local rivals, even if it's on goal difference, twice.

You are spot on with this post.
I have had to put up with Spurs fans bealling and wailing for the last 21 years and all I can make out from their sobbing is "we nearly finissssssssshed above them, it's not faaaaaaaaair".

Anyway good news for Spurs - they have got 2 new sponsors in The Milk Marketing Board, and Kleenex.
