I was really happy to see Rosberg not bottle it and man up.

He saw Hamilton do what Hamilton has done for 3 years running... put his car there and dare the guy to turn in.

    Finally Rosberg did do it.

This makes for me potentially a great season if the Mercedes wetnoses upstairs don't order a halt of course.

I want to see the two hammer into each other from here on in.

Yup ... season just got interesting. Not seen the race, will probably only watch the highlights. It puts a focus on the main issue stopping the F1 from being entertaining having the two miles ahead fastest cars exit the race right at the start ... actual meaningful racing !! it's a miracle !!! but this is the first time it's happened this season. It's the first time i've looked forward to seeing the race anyway.

Great drive by Verstappen on his debut for Red Bull, he's obviously gonna be a top driver, well is already really.

Davidson did an analysis of it.

    Brilliant stuff.

Watched Rosberg basically put car in wrong engine map then half way through corner change it one handed going 120mph and the energy harvesting mode slowed him to allow Hamilton close in but he saw him while changing modes and close door.

    **** me....

You'll see the whole thing from every angle. Google Davidson on Barcelona crash or something.

That is 100%, unequivocally 100%, Rosberg's fault. There's no argument to be had. You're allowed to change your line to defend position once. Rosberg moves left to cover there, sees Hamilton coming up the inside so then moves again, right this time, to cut him up and squeeze him out. An illegal move. Hamilton has had to run onto the grass to try and get out of it and it's sent him spinning ultimately into Rosberg's car taking them both out. The lead diver also has to leave space of one car width if another driver is up the inside which he didn't do and closed down rather than yielded. Rosberg is so **** he can't even play on track games without it being detrimental to his own cause.

He gets away with it because there's grass rather than wall...still does what he wants it to do though...

Hamilton would have done the same thing.

Please let them continue....two drivers, very good...in good cars that don't like each other....racing at its best.....

my view is less now that i saw rosberg really just ****ed it up. but who says anyone has to give anyone room..

In the old days you did this stuff all the time...
when the whingers knew schumacher hit villenvue and ****ed it up they decided to make a silly little statement about it and took all his record for the season away.. 2nd who cares....

i can assure anyone that hamitlon would put anyone in a wall so for me... if we is man enough rosberg has to be.

get on with it is my view.

Oh yes Rosberg ****ed it ... no debate there. He had his engine on the wrong setting off the grid and was fiddling with knobs and buttons whilst also trying to race Hamilton who had seen his **** up cos the red rain light was flashing on the back of the noobs car so tried to take the opportunity being in the correct mode and very much gaining ... Rosberg knew he was treading water against the fast car and has neutralised the situation like he did when he binned it that time in Monaco. Yes Hamilton is also uber aggressive but the rules of the sport say you must leave one car width's room for any driver and car alongside you in a corner who is overtaking or trying to. It's 2016 now, not 1996, those are the rules as they stand so Rosberg should be punished for that at least if we're gonna call the rest of it a 'racing incident', which it very mush isn't, but which the sport and Mercedes to avoid the PR fallout and ensuing nightmare from sponsors and business interests and investors deffo want it to be.

If I was that far ahead I'd do for him too...

The only issue is now I'm not sure the guy meant it.

I was hoping he did and that would signal fireworks from here on in

Was 100% Rosberg fault. Hanilton was gaining on him, space was there he got his front tyres level with roabergs back and Rosberg just turned in on him.

The he only good thing was Hamilton took him out after he lost control as if Rosberg had got away free and ran his rival off the road then gone on to win would have been shocking.
