Welcome back fella. Good to have you back on. I agree about Rodwell too. Seems to put in a shift and can pass a ball! But I do think Sam will get rid and bring in someone else.
Cheers mate, I remember we were struggling to create chances against Leicester, but when Rodwell came on he gave us something different and looked very good driving forward. People only concentrated on his miss (which he should have scored) and not the fact he was able to get into that position, which we had failed to do all of that game. He's not match sharp, being in and out of the team, with a run in the team he'd have probably buried that chance...
Agree totally. Players miss chances! Defoe has cost us points with mussed chances this season (although nowhere near as many as he's gained us with scored ones) but players miss! I do reckon he'll be away though. Just a niggling feeling I've got!
Still would like to see him at the back before we finally discard....but agree if we got a Whickham type of offer for the lad....let him go.
Not so sure Marcus, I think Sam maybe have been giving him a bit of breathing space after that miss and he and Lens looked to be combining well today. If M'Villa does not materialise in the transfer market he gives Sam options.
