I'd be lying if I told you that I wasn't a little bit miffed, Pixie. However, it's a game of football, mate, not life and death. I have to carry an avatar of Tony Adams for a month - big deal! I actually didn't mind Adams; sure, he was a piss-head at times, but he was a top-class defender and a half-decent captain. The punishment could have been far worse. I expect this wave of wumming - it's to be expected, especially as you are clearly excited at having "won your Cup Final" by just about finishing above Spurs this season. I'll ride the storm, and everything will start again next season, Pixie.

I think this has been debated on the Spurs board. I made the comment that, the fact that Spurs have finished the highest they've ever finished in the Prem and yet we all feel devastated at only finishing 3rd, and not 2nd, let alone not winning the title, goes to prove just how far we have under Poch. As for Wenger, this is merely just another season that he hasn't won the title again, despite charging the highest ticket prices in World football. Arsenal have stagnated, whilst Spurs have pushed on... and we're still not satisfied. For me, it proves that the club and us fans are developing a winning mentality.

spurs fans said the same thing 3 years ago, that the gap was closing, and how you were progressing and we were going backwards, yet you still have not finished above us.
