Schadenfreude pal for blowing it and finishing below the mighty Arsenal yet again. Even we beat bloody Newcastle they are terrible and with 10 men
He has answered Delias' "Where are you? Let's be 'aving you." rallying cry. A bit too late perhaps, but credit where credit is due.
We came third and have CL football to look forward to for only the 2nd time in our prem history...and 3rd time in our total history...This has been a very good season for us and you are laughing at us...when you went down without any kind of fight? Hope memories of today keeps you happy in the championship mate.
So other than bragging rights nobody will care next season ?. I still think you lot should have played a full strength side against Dortmund and gone for it knocking out the Scousers on the way.
This is Spurs' best finish ever in the Prem. The fact that we all feel so disappointed is testament to the belief that we have in Poch and this squad. At the start of the season, I doubt that there was any one among Gooners or Yids who would have predicted that we'd finish 3rd behind Arsenal without expecting to get laughed at.
where were Spurs today ? you have been missing since second half against Chavs - if you had stuck to football rather than trying to kick the Chavs you could have pushed Leicester but instead you have flopped to 3rd. you will have CL next year but at what cost if you slip back to 6th or 7th in PL
Ldl....without wishing to offend but why are you so far up the bums of these Spurs boys ? Does your wife/boyfriend support them or are you only a plastic United fan ? #curious.
Poch came out for the first time today in his post match comments and explicitly said that something had seriously snapped in the Chav game. The worrying part is that he alluded to the fact that he didn't quite understand what 'it' was, or how to go about getting 'it' back again. I personally think 'it' is simply complete lack of experience throughout the entire squad, our oldest outfield players being all of 28. Combined with a captain who is a great player but a **** captain and the sum total is that the manager hasn't got any lieutenants to settle the nerves on the pitch and sort the mentality out.
Next season is a new start. I expect we'll have a couple of additions, and Poch will have had the close season to iron out some issues. Overall, I think we have to be more positive than pessimistic.
Nope. They still would have won it after beating Everton. The cost is purely financial, as your lot know only too well (hence the Wenger PL 4th place Cup) .
Just a note of interest to the tiddlers ... LDL was one of the most hated WUMs on BBC Spurs 606, even though he is adult enough in debate to not have to apply the tiddler restrictions. His (long overdue IMHO) banning there came in a long dogfight with one of our own, and the with demise of BBC606, meant he came here knowing he had to tone down his WUMmery. And so he remains, making decent contribution to our board as (ostensibly ) a non-Spurs supporter and a decent contributor to the debate on Spurs 606. And you ... ??
you might not appreciate this post right now but you losing 5-1 to relegated Newcastle just about sums up the bizarre nature of this season added to which we could end up in CL after coming 8th
