I like Rodwell, I know not many agree though. The second half of this season, he definitely seems to have turned a corner and has started to show up and have influence over games, at times, which he hasn't been doing before. I'd like him to stay with a full pre-season under Sam. I think there's a player in him yet and I'd like to see us persist with him.
That's the thing for me though, when he's been called upon this year. He hasn't really disappointed, he gets himself in some good positions and with a little more composure, he could definitely add goals to his game. If we could somehow wipe our memory of him and start all over again from January, we'd be looking at him as a decent addition to the squad.

Arnhem is nearly an hour and a half train journey from Amsterdam, surely they can't be rivals, or have I missed something? I like going to watch them, tidy little stadium with superb facilities inside.
Definitely sell him if we get a decent offer or we'll end with a 35 year old Rodwell, still waiting for him to reach his potential. It's not that he's terrible but there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that Sam could get a better player in for the same wage.
