Considering our pre-season expectations, I wouldn't say worried, rather more disappointing to possibly lose out on 2nd at the end. <ok>

Fair enough, you've had a decent season. But the way you've crumbed at the end has to be pretty annoying given what could have been ? Losing 2nd place to us would be like rubbing salt into the wounds. For most Spurs fans though, they've been fairly realistic and level headed about Spurs' prospects this season.

HIAG on the other hand must be ****ting his pants that we don't overtake you on the last day of the season <laugh>

Either way, it'll make for some good reading to kill off lunchtime at work when you two get going.:)

Missed the second half as I had to go out. It was apparently a very tired, lackadaisical performance. Several players way off their usual standard.

I expect several arses are in for a sound kicking!

Pooch came out and said that there was no hangover from the Chelsea game, sounds as though it was just that ?

What was obvious was that the Southampton players were terrified of engaging the Spurs players in a physical battle.

The days of other teams pushing Spurs around are clearly long gone.

From what I saw it looked like several players were suffering from a hangover of sorts. No real energy, not enough effort, etc. some looked like they couldn't be bothered.
Whatever Pochettino says to the media, he'll be fuming. Arses will be kicked, for sure.

  10. If we do manage to scrape 2nd, I won't be giving Pixie a hard time at all. It's not in my nature to do that.

Similarly, if Arsenal do manage to haul themselves above us, I expect that Pixie will be very sporting about it and not seek to take advantage.

I've never sought to give you a hard time HIAG. I know that time you threatened to call the Police you were at your wits end, but you have to remember it's all banter :)

'We have to think like a big club' - Pochettino.

<laugh> Startling admission from the manager that Spurs aren't a big club.

Pochettino is a ferocious competitor. He won't have been happy with what he saw today.

Called it after Brom took pts at Lane.
Abject failure from Spuds & Poch finishing below Goons.
Remember Martinez & Everton finished with 72 pts 2 years ago, 2 more than Poch & Spuds!!

    Poch = MUCH OVER RATED!!

Did ask HIAG not to tempt fate before Brom game. Did he??
