I'd pause it for this game (like the Trust have asked). Yeah let's boo Jordan, though. Hate the introduction of stands. I don't clap/cheer it. It's awful. At least when it gets booed, there's some noise.
dcfc_awaydays @dcfcawaydays Over 150 tickets returned to the ticket office for Hull away already.. Surprised it's not 1500.. #DCFC
Driving home from yesterdays game I rang the old man who had been gardening but listening to the match with headphones on, at 25 mins he walked to the paper shop on Boothferry road near Darleys pub City scored and he cheered, he bought a paper got back home then as I am talking to him I said "your talking a bit strange" he replied "ive lost my false teeth and think it was when city scored" I thought how can you lose your teeth. He went back to the shop with about half a dozen people in there and asked the shop assistant if any one had handed any teeth in. I bet they all had a right laugh when he walked out. Anyway he never found them so if anyone sees an 80 year bloke in E10 on Tuesday with no teeth then its probably my dad or better still if you come across some teeth on bootferry rd then you know who's they are
Spooky, I just put telly on, and the first image was Jon Parkin at Wembley today. Good job it's a wide screen.
I know they're 3-0 nil down and all that but there's still at least 90 mins left to play. They beat us 2-0 at the KC I'm certainly not going there on Tuesday night thinking 'job done'. It is City after all.
If the management and players share that attitude then we won't be going to Wembley. Would you leave a game at half-time when 3-0 down ? I'm optimistic we'll go through but we need to see the job through...
December 26th 1970 Hull City 1 Sheffield Wednesday 4 ...........10 minutes to go, people streaming out Final score 4-4 Was there to the end!
Remember it like yesterday HPT… Sat on the barrier on the corner of the North stand and Railway.. happy days…!!!
So was I. Chilton hit the bar when it was four all, so could have been 5-4 (I remember it as being 4-1 down with 7 minutes to go) You are going to make the knicker wetters wet their knickers thinking about Tuesday and our slim three goal lead.
I was on Bunkers for the first half, seeing Ken Houghton equalise the Wendies opener. Someone kicked me in the back of the leg as I celebrated, so went to the North Stand for the second half. Right behind the goal for City last 3 (Chilton 2, Wagstaff). My next door neighbour left at 1-4 and with no papers, refused to believe the final score for two days!
Not many attacks likes ours in 1970 though, good start and play counter attack I think. We should be OK
On the way out of the ground yesterday I overheard some Derby fans saying they expect their season passes to go down 20% next season from £425 now. I got talking to them, as was in a good mood and risking it as had an Amber city polo shirt on, and told them about the plans to remove concessions for children and over 65's - the couldn't believe any owner would be so stupid and alienate the future supporters etc.
Off on Tuesday, however I have a horrible feeling its is not going to go exactly to plan. think I am use to watching City
I left early to walk down North road for the bus. That was the last time I have left a city match early.
Ticket update for Tuesday providing all pass holders take up their seats there are around 1280 left, it looks like only single seats are available in East and North, I got my sisters little seven year old to count them for practice for her maths test.. She said the main amount was in upper west 708 and lower 299
