None taken. Tanya’s welcome to come and try out my pole anytime. If I had bumped into her at Newbury, who knows...

Russian Soul ran better than I thought he might after drifting almost double the price on the exchanges before the off! Got going all too late though and never a real threat.

Very well done with the winner of the 1000 Boris!

I'm on Moon Trouble at 40s on the exchanges for the 2000- ran a belter in 3rd LTO and should be suited by the bigger field today. Another sired by Lope De Vega who I like in these softer conditions.

On a side note, I found Channel 4s commentary substantially better than the Croft/Brundle chat show that we get on Sky- well done them.

Well- if there was one AOB horse I'd want in the Derby there it is.

Perfectly reasonable in the most open race for many a year.

Haven't seen a much better performance than that this season from The Gurkha. Proper hacked up. Class.

Distaff pedigree a slight concern perhaps.

Wouldnt stay if he was strapped to the Leger winner Wings Of Desire, thats a G1 miler just beating a Group 3 middle distance horse.

St James Palace or they have lost the plot

Wouldn't be mapped in a Derby mind you. Can clean up the mile races, he's never staying a Derby trip.

They can afford the £75,000 to add him to The Derby if they want.

There was 3 horses to me with the potential to be Group 1 in that race, and they were the top 3 in the market, one proved he was, about 14 of the others finished in a heap.

Both colts Guineas so far have been the worst I have seen, The Gurkha and Galileo Gold should be running against each other in the St James Palace and Galileo Gold will probably be the value, as bad as Newmarket was, it was a stronger race than the one we just watched and obviously the hype machine has just went into overdrive.
