I think it's bad drivers buy them. I know someone who had one and then got a smaller 4x4. She promptly knocked my friend's wall down with the smaller car and blamed the car. So what did she do? Sold it and got a bigger one so now she just bounces off things! (of course what she hits doesn't fair well but the car is ok)
Pretty sure I've just had the best 10 days of my life. - get exclusives with Bertrand/Fonte in the Sunday papers - Saints win at Spurs to beat Poch and give ourselves a ghope - find out I smashed an exam - get a job interview at Arsenal - get a call within 24 hours to offer me the job - Fraser, Virgil and JWP sign long-term contracts to stay at Saints - pay day (always nice ) - cover Wimbledon v Accrington for the Sunday Mirror and People - Saints thump Palace 4-1 - Saints move up to 5th and bank European football - Pompey blow the play-offs in the 92nd min - beat my housemate in the fantasy league in the final week to avoid having to wearing a Pompey shirt Oh, and my nan's health is picking up. Not really sure how it gets much better, to be honest. But Ronald, if you fancy signing a contract I guess I could change it to the best fortnight ever...
My week was pretty much like that... I'll just add something in... - that flight that was delayed on Monday... I forgot to mention that I also had the flight time wrong. I thought it was 9.25am but turned out it was 8.15 am. I only realised when my colleague called me to ask what terminal I was landing at as I pulled into the M25 traffic at 5 minutes to seven. By the time I parked and got the bus to the terminal I ran in with less than an hour and not checked in. After politely asking for some help I was taken to the front of a check-in desk and told I just had time... then the delays started happening.. then they had asked for volunteers for the next flight... then they paid me compensation (for a flight that I nearly missed myself) - DTLW - you forgot the Spuds throwing away 2nd place to the Gooners - Oh and then ....every Monday for the last 6 weeks my mate has emailed a gang of us our Predictor League table as he over took me a few weeks back to go top. The emails just had the table and "Just saying"... Two years ago he was top for 4 months from January and told everyone he had booked his open top bus parade the next morning ... I doubled his score on the last weekend and pipped him to the title. The same thing happened yesterday. He is mortified. Happy Days!!
