Not sure if this is going to bite me on the arse but could we possibly suspend all hostilities towards the owners on Tuesday night and get behind the lads and support them as loudly and as passionately as we can. For hopefully two more games could we forget red cards, anti-Allam chants and concentrate our energy on being the 12th man and getting the job in hand done. Just a thought after a fantastic result yesterday. Tin hat at the ready.
The Trust has already announced it will not be encouraging a red card display at the home leg, yesterday was the last time. And there was no anti-Allam chanting at all yesterday that I heard. Things have already moved on.
Be nice to invite the North Ferriby team and management onto the pitch before kick off. It would get a much better response then the North Stand, South Stand rubbish.
The person handing out reds yesterday said he'd spoke to mooney and said no reds on Tuesday! And we've got 20,000 flags instead
I for one will be holding up a red card and singing Allam out. While listening to the game in the shed via the radio.
Get yourself there City. We're possibly 2 games away from new owners and the money from the gate reciepts on Tuesday night go to the Foootball League. You didnt go through all those dark days 20 years ago to miss these kind of nights. Getting outplayed by Chester City, losing to Macclesfield on a regular basis, throwing away 3 goal leads to Torquay Utd and getting dumped out of the cup by non league opposition. These are the occasions that where beyond the wildest of dreams back then. You've earned these nights. Let nothing and nobody stand in the way of what is rightfully yours. These are not dark days, these are great days, grab them, enjoy them because you never know when they'll come around again.
I'm all for stopping the red card protest on Tuesday but don't get complacent & carried away in the euphoria of yesterday, Tuesday & the, probable, upcoming Wembley trip. Keep sending your emails & letters to anybody who you believe is relevant or could offer a comment that will show the idiotic scheme up for what it is. MP's, Sponsors, Councillors, National Media, David Conn, FSF, Community Groups, Radio phone ins, high profile football supporters, ... The ****ers may appear to want us onside with them now in order to assist in getting over the line. Once the line is crossed we'll again become the irrelevant ****s they truly believe us to be, especially if PL status is confirmed. Just because the visual protests have been temporally suspended doesn't mean we have to stop exploring & carrying out other methods of protest. Get on it. Together we will be heard.
red cards should be out at the end of the game on Tuesday when everyone is on the pitch in front of the directors box
Who's got the massive flag of the proper crest that got passed around the ground a few years back? Think it was paid for by KC? Don't tell me it's been declared verboten by the current owners. Like to think someone has it in their garage and it will be brought on Tues night.
See no reason to stop the red card protest sorry. Its an excellent protest. Definitely keep booing the fatty Jordan with his South Stand bollocks too.
