In a re-run of last season's CL final the mighty men from Manchester take on the south coast slayers in a must win game. Fans will also have eyes across the sea to Wales where the mighty Swans face a cash strapped ££££ in another crucial fixture. I see 2 - 1 to us and 1- 1 in the other game.
yeahh i see City drawing .. no way they will let Swansea beat them .. am watching Man Sh!t match though .. no point watching ours one, more with LVG boring stupid passing no guts football style .. I hope he got the sack today before FA cup final , bcz he is not worth winning any medal with us ..
Today must be the defining day for LvG. Whatever discussions have or have not been going on, nothing was going to happen until after the last game of the PL season - but there again, Woodward will probably keep us all waiting until after the Cup Final
Todays squad... United: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Rashford. Subs: Romero, Jones, Varela, Young, Herrera, Pereira, Memphis. Schneiderlin and Rojo dropped from the squad completely and Herrera dropped to bench. Where's Big Tim gone?
Even if Van Gaal had managed a draw against West Ham we may have stood a chance as it would've meant City would have had to win today instead of just draw. Another reason why Van Gaal is a true loser.
Only the Stretford End and SAF stand. They must have found a West Ham fan with a bag of bottles! He was probably waiting for LVG to lead out the United bus...
This is a masterstroke by Van Gaal. Delay the match, keep fingers crossed that City win their game, takes the pressure off him in our final game so even if we fail to win there won't be any calls for him to go. "tactical genius"
If it stays like this the teams might as well not bother coming out - we can just gift the game to Bournemouth
Yes poor touch by Scholes - he gave possession straight to City who scored. I think Keane had a hand ion that sloppy play too.
