Time we got this thread back on to the happy clapping super duper direction. As we approach the match I'm going for a 5-1 win (if only because I have that in my prediction league). I will now extend my prediction to say that our underwhelming start to the match (not winning the toss and taking KO) will soon be overcome by a masterclass in passing and scoring, soon to be followed by a certain past manager being sent to the stands for complaining too much about how unfair it is that his team are made to play against us only 6 days before a really important game for them. This afternoon could well turn out to be very similar to a relegation 'Great Escape', where Saints are winning easily, but everyone is distracted by their transistor radios (OK I'm very old) aka I-phones, and other results (well, two other results) are as important as our win. Being positive, I confidently predict a top eight finish. Now, if only I can find a bookmaker who will give me decent odds on that...
