They want us to get promoted as that'll be one less relegation spot to worry about Worth having a laugh at on FMTTM - Their knowledge on Hull is hilarious, people from Middlesbrough calling Hull a **** hole
You see that kind of thing on most opposition boards when they play us, had stuff like that from Derby supporters this week.
I think we'll win the playoffs now we've got through what I thought would be a very difficult away leg and done such a good job of it. I also think we're by far the best equipped to stay up if we go up. This squad should never have been relegated in the first place. We'll have less recruitment to do than any other promoted side.
I remember my father being offered a good job in Middleboro and he took my mother to look rounds the place. He didn't take the job as my mother said she wouldn't live in a **** hole like that
I agree. Plus we can get rid of a lot as they're out of contract. Aluko etc. Just hope we scour the championship for young hungry players with a point to prove.
It would be wrong to deny that parts of Hull too are indeed a ****hole by all conventional measures. What always annoys though is that almost all cities have poor or deprived areas- it's what separates proper places from the soulless nondescript likes of Milton Keynes, Watford, Stevenage etc - so people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
Have we got anyone as good as Walsh and Shakey at Leicester? Looking for 'rough diamonds' to polish...
Industrial Boro is pretty grim, although nowhere near as bad as it used to be. There are some lovely places around it though. Nice bits of coast, the northern expanse of the North York Moors, and Hartlepool all have their charms.
Middlesbrough itself is **** beyond words. It could probably be a contender for ****test City in Europe. Has nice bits around it, Yarm for example. My family originate from Middlesbrough, many centuries ago. I'm relieved they found a way out.
"That's one spot sorted for relegation" Someone might want to tell them there is more than 1 relegation spot. Stupid bastards.
I wished they'd have dropped into the play offs again, so we could have put them to the sword once again and put right that flukey win by them at the Riverside. **** bastards. Spawniest team ever to get automatic promotion - FACT.
They've now started a thread on which teams they'll finish above I think they'll be straight back down, bottom of the league maximum 30 points. They'll have exactly the same problem attracting players to actually live near Middlesbrough. The landscape has changed since they were last up in the top flight. Recent times has seen both Newcastle and Sunderland struggle to sign players due to location. Players preferring London or North West centric teams.
Not sure why people are getting wound up over it, I'm sure some of our fans would say the same about them. In our minds we were the better team this season but they only have to point to the table to show they were better when it counted. We'll both be among the favourites to go down (if we go up of course).
Maybe, but only truly massive ****s make a 'What teams will we finish above?' thread. You're newly promoted. Just be thankful you're even ****ing there, you pricks.
