You ****ing useless ****. Why f
Don't you **** off and pollute another forum somewhere.
I was on a flight to Spain while the race was on if you must know, it ran a lot better than it has the last few times.
You are an incredibly annoying Tosser who most likely has a very small penis!

    From Ron's "Welcome" thread:

Although Ron originally posted this on the 2nd of June 2011 it is as true today as it was then. I'm not going to trawl back through this thread and start deleting comments but please take this as a gentle reminder. I won't be so magnanimous next time.

    Let's move on <ok>

Do your worst Odddy. This ****ing pea brain regularly comes on here to goad me and slate me if things don't go right. Never and yes I can say never has the prick given me a like or a well done when I put the occasional winner on here. I gave a 33/1 winner on here a fortnight ago and he was nowhere to be seen.
Yesterday's tip I had was for a 20/1 shot for Christs sakes, he couldn't get a 6/1 shot placed. I have apologised on here many times when tips have lost and been told I had no need to apologise by the decent folk on here.
Whilst I enjoy posting on here I really am too old to be trolled and questioned by some clueless twat like fusion who told us all to lay the Williams girl at Wimbledon!
Life is simply too short to put up with this kind of ****!

Oddie I think you know Stick does not come on and personally abuse people and that it is purely a response to intentional provocation, whether it's the right response is questionable as it would have perhaps been better if everyone just ignored the bait when first posted, as if there is no bite the fisherman tends move on to a new pitch, but they will never leave a pitch whilst there is lots of movement.

It is the greatest shame as this is a good forum and generally very little personal stuff gets used, sometimes in good humour where you know the two people sparring have an understanding that nothing personal is meant, but otherwise it is about the posts and responding to the posts.

Stick' there is of course no need for you to justify putting up any selections win or lose, as it's a horse racing forum and everyone knows you well, and it's clear many enjoy your input, there is even less need for anyone to apologise when a selection loses as we all know this game comes with no guarantees. Imagine how cluttered up the board would be if we all had to write an official apology for a loser, Ron would never have time for lunch ( just kidding Ron).

The forum can get a bit sparse at times and so we rely on probably about 15 regular posters to keep it going and prompt response, if this sort of nonsense gets a foot in some regulars ( such as Stick in this case ) will drop away and once enough drop away you simply wont have a forum, and I know there are a lot if regular readers that have expressed enjoying it, even if they maybe don't venture on and post too often. So what a shame it would be if something that has been built and sustained by people like Ron ( trying to recover myself now mate ) was lost because of one or two bringing a bit of trolling to it. Fusion I am not sure why you decided to do that yesterday as if you don't rate Stick's tips just ignore them and him, as I am sure he would be happy to do the same in return, but you are bright enough to know what would follow, but I sincerely hope not the type to derive pleasure from it.

I love a well natured debate when people place themselves in opposition to others views and make their case, so I don't seek an anodyne forum, lets get as much discussion as possible going, but never move away from the post onto the poster.

Roger Charlton should give Aidan O’Brien lessons in how to do post-race interviews.

After the London Gold Cup at Newbury whilst being interviewed on the course, Charlton was asked in what regard he held the easy winner Imperial Aviator compared to his previous winners.

He told the interviewer that he was 20 lengths better than Al Kazeem and 15 lengths better than Time Test. Strangely those remarks have not been widely reported because I think most racegoers understood the vein in which they were made.

I think Jim Bolger eclipses all when it comes to post race bilge.

Never fails to advertise his stallions and if one reads his after race remarks re his Derby contender, well the rest might as well not turn up this year.

    He's not always so loquacious.

He threw a hissy fit after the "still awesome" Dawn Approach was beaten at Goodwood and refused to talk to the presenter.
