Off Topic Eurovision song contest

Just seen the Russian song.
Great song...but absolutely great CGI effects...definate winner...
Let's see if I'm right

 

It's called 3D projection mapping beth. Take a look at this. I have used the software and its amazing all done on a Mac/software/projection and screen.

 

Do you do this stuff Ellers?
My littlest daughter is at Bournemouth doing this sort of thing at uni...I am completely fascinated by it
Anyway back to Eurovision...straight race between Russia and Spain ...I would think

This is the 1st time I've heard our song, I'm not expecting much

 

yes i do, but not on that scale. The Russian guy was using top end stuff but agree it's amazing what you can do with it. I missed Spain! The Australian had better vocals than the Russian but he did the whole package.

 

First time I've heard ours too....much better than I expected...but not as good as Russia and Spain...or Aussie.
It should be top half for a change...imho

 

How can you watch that crap, Beth/Ellers etc, the voting is fixed & songs are a joke & laughable & we come in bottom 6, let's us know the score though!

 

I'm not enjoying Justin Timberlake but then again I have an instant dislike to anyone with the initials JT, can't think where that comes from

 

The only ones I saw were Russia, Spain, Lativia and Austria (which I spent wondering why she was singing in what seemed to be heavily accented French). Oh and Croatia, featuring a woman dressed as a tent. Spain by a mile, though the Russian visuals were great, bit of a dirgy song.

I am pretty sure that I have watched more this year than I have ever watched before in total, 5 complete songs! I think that will suffice for my lifetime.

I have learned that trying to do humour that translates for how ever many countries are involved is rather painful.

 

The interval song Love love peace peace...was the best thing all night.
And the best since river dance.
The man in the hamster wheel made me laugh out loud...

 

I suppose this incredibly tedious trip around TV studios around the world with a screenshot of some local tourist spot is the whole point of Eurovision, to show that the satellites really work.

Was the Aussie song any good?

 

Australia, Russia and Israel ... the three countries that aren't actually in Europe.

 

Your geography is really poor 999s...next you will be saying that Israel is not in Europe either
