    But you lads dont seem to be kicking off as much as i expected,how come? The worst scenario in tbe world has happened to yous. On top of that the mighty Mackems were the ones that smacked that final nail in the Coffin just before the highest ever pay day ever in the Prem.
    Sorry lads i only have 5 words for yous.... LMFAO.

    These things happen, it's your time on top, same way as it has been before and will be again. You guys got to push on or your luck will run out eventually.

    How come? The kicking off started last year. You know the Five Stages of Grief: anger, fear and so on down to resignation and acceptance?

    Well, we're in the last stage and it was nothing short of what we could see coming months ago. So much so that I backed Newcastle to go down and laid Sunderland to do the same. It was quite clear what was going to happen even before Defoe got his shooting boots strapped on.

    Worst scenario in the world? Hardly. It's just football. I'll let you into a little secret: three teams go out each year and three teams go back in. And none of the three teams suffer unduly. And what will happen to Newcastle? Well, some of the deadwood will be removed, the fans will still go to the game (or most of them will), the players will play football, the fans will see football and they may see a few goals for the lads in black and white (which is going to be a positive rather a negative), the away games will be different to stadia which may be cheaper, the visiting fans may well be of a better calibre.

    So little or no downsides there. Newcastle will be still going years after I have gone and football will still be played there, so nothing changes.

    As for the payday. Well, let's face it. The fans will see none of it even if it did go to the club. It's no use saying that such a player can be bought with the money because as we have found it makes no difference if the player forgets how to play football as seems to happen North of the Tyne.

    So, if you were coming here to try to wind people up then, sorry, some of us are actually grown up and just resigned to the big picture where the likes of you and I don't matter anyway.

    Its our 9th year in the Prem straight now mate. How weve managed that with some of our previous teams is beyond me but as much as yous hate him Sam ia doing a terrific job. The future looks bright,our U21s have just finished 2nd in their league with Watmore and Pickford already being promoted to first team dutys and we now have the likes of Kone,Kirchoff, and Khazri aswell as Defoe to take us to the next level

    Yep Sam has done good for you guys, but the point is things could change at any point, could take 5 years, could be trading places next year. Remember in 2009 I thought we'd struggle and take 3 or 4 years to come back up, we went up first time with 102 points.

    You're the one with the arse hanging off issue, not I. Like I say, we're resigned to to the fact and have been since last year hence no kicking off nor biting on your attempt at wummery.

    its out of the fans hands ...what has happened ..sometimes you have to take a step back to learn and go forward .. hopefully lessons will be learnt ..

    lots of us seen what was going to happen a long time ago ..but that's the joys of Ashley and co .. that's the way it is

    Ninth year.

    <laugh>

    Wow, what an achievement. I would give up all our second places and close misses (e.g. Third etc) to be able to say that.
