so which was our worst home performance in a season of ineptitude .
We had many at the valley for us to endure home defeats to Preston and Huddersfield spring to mind but for me it wasn't even a defeat .
No for me it was the 0 0 draw in the must win game V MK Dons.
Never have I seen a more disinterested performance by a CAFC side in such an important game.
We rarely threatened or looked the least bit interested in gaining the 3 points that would of kept us in the race to stay up.
As it turned out the point garnered by MK that at the time they were happy with also done for them .
It was the game in which Callum Harriott easily our most threatening player was taken off and the game in which Lookman wasn't introduced until 7!mins to go .
It also showed Riga up for the useless manager that he is .

    Bolton.

A must win home game under the Shakin Stevens lookalike.

2-0 up, and then we collectively sh1te our pants & threw it away. It dawned on many that night that we were finished.

Brentford at home was also a shocker, 0-3 and Alan McOxo looking like Zidane against our midfield. I enjoyed that game however, as I was ejected by the stewards after a robust exchange with Richard Murray <cheers>

Thought the MK performance also featured a performance by Poyet as equally inept as any by a cafc player during the season.

    It's a tough question, but I'd say:

    1) The MK Dons 0-0. As Mike says, it featured Poyet running away from the ball, a zombie-like performance when we really needed a win against a very poor MKD team.
    2) The Bolton game. We were only awful for 70 minutes, against MKD for 90.
    3) The Udders 1-2. Completely mugged off by another poor side.

I wasn't at the Bristol City 0-1, how did that rate?
Defensively the Burnley 0-3 was the worst, the defense went totally AWOL for all 3 goals.

Brentford 0-3 stands out also. Played off the park for 90 mins.

Brentford for me as we could have been ahead but Moussa hit horribly wide from about 8 yards...

    MK Dons.

Although by a country mile, Bristol City at their place on Boxing Day was comfortably the worst performance of the season.

I was at both the Bristol City and Colchester away games, and would say Colchester was miles worse. Bristol would have beaten us 6-0 if that lad up front could have hit the target. Colchester was famous for the entire team not showing up and Roger Johnson besmirching the name of the Club with a performance so bad not would have seen him dropped from the Dog and Duck Second X1.
I was one of our fans down the front at the end when Poyet and Fox tried to come over, I saw Poyet take one look at the reception he was getting and tell Fox to 'leave it'

and, of course, at the Colchester game we had the added embarrassment of an Addick fan dressed as a slug <ok>

    Without question.

Bristol should have 5 or 6 past us.

In my defence Royston, we had a first team(such as it is) playing the wurzels.

The 0-3 at home to PNE for me.
Run ragged by a young British team that had little quality but just worked hard, which was all they needed against us

Agree. Was that the game where we started fairly well, and then JJ pulled up and it all went to ****? Or was that Brentford. Either way, two very, very embarrassing performances.

Preston were the best side I saw at the valley last season and not a foreign player in site and an experienced English manager at the helm
