A funny, ironic mainly but a bit hilarious, thought occurred to me as I was listening to Claudio talking about the Chelsea game. When the fixtures came out I seem to recall us having a discussion about having to play them last game and the prospect of would we need anything to avoid relegation. We're going there as the Premier League Champions.
I could really use a win here for future arguments with big club fans about flukes and such . The biggest margin possible would be appreciated so a win would be helpful .... Tanx in advance
Simpson has had the curfew overruled at a Crown Court hearing today. I'm all for doing the time if you've done the crime but it did seem harsh that when his community service ceasing was due to press intrusion it resulted in an immediately imposed curfew.
It wasnt harsh. He behaved like a twat and got treated like one. Its called justice He has been brilliant this season I just hope he keeps his head down as we cant afford a bad egg
I meant that fact that his community service was cancelled by the people that arrange it due to media intrusion. Heath and safety risk apparently. If he hadn't turned up, tried to get out of it then, absolutely fair enough. He was trying to serve the punishment he was given, he'd done half of it & then they stopped his placement. He'd been doing exactly as you're saying he should but the press were harassing the people who he was with. He might want to consider getting a taXI or a lift when he resumes his community work rather than turning up in the super car though...
Press intrusion is a pretty weak sauce excuse tbh but it means that he can take part in the clubs celebration activities and do the community service during the summer break, will be less press intrusion during the euros. He'll do the time... eventually
