Derby v Hull City AFC - Team News

I have to say that increasingly I think City have a great chance.

I didn't feel like that a few weeks back, but I do now.

I think we'll edge out Derby over the two legs, and a dramatic Wembley win to follow.

I hate this membership thing, plus the rest of the Allam gaffs, but how can you not start to feel it in the play offs?

 

"won't be far off" worries me with Bruce
It should be the exact same 11 that thrashed Rotherham but only Bruce can tinker with a winning team & pluck defeat from the jaws of victory (if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!)
We have to go to Derby & get a win, but we know Bruce will try for a 0-0 & then a 1-0 at The KC

 

He'll have instilled massive confidence in the squad by having them practice penalties all week.

 

The usual moaning, negative ****s writing us off even before a ball's kicked ..... you couldn't make up worse support if you ****ing tried.

 

It wasnt long ago Bruce was getting oodles of **** on here for not changing a winning team and expecting too much from the same players when we have a big squad.

Whenever i see the word expert I always think of this:
An ex is an has-been
and a spert is a drip under pressure

I would imagine there are a few on here who would fit the bill.

I really want to be positive but I can't see tomorrow going well at all.

We're just so bad away. We've got 1 point away from home against the top 6 this year and scored 1 goal. I almost wish we were playing at home first, because the tie could be over by the time we get back to the KC. I really wouldn't fancy our chances of trying to overturn a first leg deficit, that'd make for a thoroughly depressing second leg. We have to get something tomorrow I think. Yet I can't see it. Based on our track record I can only expect us to fail to score and lose 1 or 2 nil.

Just got to hope Bruce can get some sort of away performance out of them that he's not been able to get before now.

 

Bloody hell PLT… you just burst some balloons… I see where you're coming from, but I think its not up to Bruce anymore… they're going to come straight at us, if we get through the first 20/25 I think we'll be OK… I hope so or there'll be a lot of empty seats come Tuesday night.

 

The away form has been strange, you have to think it's problems with the tactics.

 

I thought we played well & were the better team at burnely & boro! Greegsy f'ked up one & after having a great game daws & Davies went to sleep for the other! I'm confident in the team when we play counter attack! It's when teams sit in when we struggle.
