Hi BB. I've heard that we have a new left back but I'd not heard about him before he became our left back. The long white cloud has given way to clear skies so the snow has melted. The earth gave us a little wake up call this morning at 6.03. Only a 3.7 but local so thre was a bit of a bump. They seem to be rarer now, but that's what we said last time!
Our new signing says that he likes to tackle and always gives 100%. That is what you would expect him to say, and no doubt it is true. What would be truthful soundbites some of our previous signings should have given? Here is one to start with: Priskin- "I don't like running and I want to set the new world record for offsides in a game"
Lloyd - " I think every full back should score regularly, say every 300 games." (i'm not having a go at Lloyd. This is said with affection)
Brendan Rodgers - "I relish the challenge of keeping Watford in this division then taking the club forward. I'm sure that in 6 months time, all you Rea - er Watford fans will realise how committed I am."
The train was quite crowded, so a U. S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a well dressed, middle-aged, French woman's poodle... The war-weary Marine asked, 'Ma'am, may I have that seat?' The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular 'Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.' The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog.. 'Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired. She snorted, 'Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!' This time the Marine didn't say a word; he just picked up the little dog, threw it out of the train window, and sat down. The woman shrieked, 'Someone must defend my honour! This American should be put in his place!' An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, 'Sir, you Americans often seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir, you seem to have thrown the wrong bitch out of the window.
Honestly! It might just be that i am overly sensitive to rudeness and the like to the service personnel
