I see Fat Freddie has been spouting his mouth of yet again on the radio. He is saying that Rafa should shoulder some of the blame for us getting relegated, "he only managed 2 wins from 10" he said. Well Freddie, its 2 wins from 9 to be exact, and to hear all this finger pointing from the man that started all this ****e, by sacking Sir Bobby is hard to bear. **** off back under the slimy hole you crawled from and let us true fans decide what is best for the club. ****..!!!
I cannot stand that man. He has never been interested in the well-being of our club. It was a vehicle for his own ego and a way to make money. Nothing more. He treats much of the local area in the same way, but that would go off on a tangent so I won't get into that. He is a vile individual, both in and out of football. God knows, Ashley has done a terrible job of owning this club, but I would take Ashley over Fat Freddie 100 times out of a 100.

Like him or not, no ****er complained when he was spending the money that got the club in debt. It was spend, spend, spend, the more the merrier or was I living in an alternate universe. Short Memories when it suits....
No, you're right. None of us were complaining when we were breaking the world transfer record and bringing in world stars. The thing is, we can only ever judge on what we see. and the facts we are told. None of us knew at the time what he was doing to the clubs finances, or the way he was feathering his own nest. He wasn't the only culprit, but in my book he belongs in the same category as Lord Westwood in only ever looking after himself and his own ambitions, and a far worse version of Westwood at that. Sir John Hall was no saint, but at least he had some sort of (albeit misguided) vision of bringing something to the area and building something for the people and the club. Not sure his son was cut from the same stock though.
You're also right, I'm just being a bit controversial and defending the rights of crooks and misfits in screwing us over. Probably, because we're so narrow minded and blind to it, that we didn't see them creeping up.
I remember hearing Shepherd on TalkSport say that during his time on the board and as chairman, Newcastle played over 80 games in Europe. It wasn't all bad then.
