Ask Newcastle fans what they think of American commentators. They thought their last one was watching tennis! Plus, he would SCREAM random words in the middle of HIS sentences. I think it was their KC matchday thread.

I believe he's gone to Genk (Belgium) on loan until the end of the season.
Out of the blue this kid, never heard of him and usually with guys like him you get some sort of hint over here on an up and coming player.
Was there a lot of talk about Subotic before he came through mate? Or was there nothing? I hope he turns into a Subotic type player, that would be great. I don't mean as in centre back btw, I mean as in top class player.
Subotic wasn't that highly touted mianly due to them looking at how athletic someone is rather than their actual ability. His technique and vision, spotting the forwards runs, recognizing when to drop when to press up, etc was really good but they said he lacked that "athletic" feature. We have missed a lot of players because of the view of wanting success with the younger ages and not developing the right players, clue in on players not athletes. It doesn't matter how fast or big you are if you can;t kick a ball. To answer your question, he was not known to a lot of the fans but coaches in the know knew of him and many were upset about the way he was treated and handled.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ubotic-snubs-united-states-in-favor-of-serbia This is the same coach who failed to get our u-20's in the world cup mind. Also, the Rossi story is nonsense, he might have played for the Italian youth I believe but when Bruce Arena wanted him to come, there was some cover up on the dropped ball. http://www.ussoccerplayers.com/usso...ossi-it-will-be-an-emotional-game-for-me.html
It really is bad, guys like Harkes and Lalas, Delacamera too go off on these wild stories that have nothing to do with the game at hand! Some should tape what they say during the game, and sit them down in front of only a media player so they can't see the game and have them try to imagine what is going on...... clueless.
I say, you fellows. I think you colonial chappies really ought to realise what a jolly mess you're making of the old lingo. Get yourselves over here to dear old blighty this minute and hear how it's done. That's the ticket, what?
Got some hill-billy/hick/country chat for you..... rep for whoever can figure it out first WITHOUT looking it up.... and: M R ducks M R not O S A R C M wangs? L I B! M R ducks
Abbey(?), see the horses, them are not horses ( them no horses), yes they are ( see they are), are they really? ( are they hell?), see they are, oh aye hell they are?? hopefully close.
Close enough. I didn't type your's because I thought by the time I'd posted it half a dozen others would have got in first. But it's more or less the same with ducks -with a southern drawl, I'm guessing?
ya real heavy southern tongue. another one that is real hard is something with eggs and ham, but I will have to post it tomorrow as I am almost done with work and ready for the weekend. Apparently there is a lot of links with the Appalachian region and Britain, mainly Scotland. Loads of cities in that area named after places in Britain. Actually have clases in college on it.
Since no one posted... 'Em are ducks, 'em are not oh yes they (dey) are See 'em wangs? (Wings) Well I'll be! 'Em are ducks!
