. . . I don't know what you peasants are having tonight but I have just cooked myself some oven/barbecued Salmon, Boiled Potatoes and Avocado smothered in Full Egg Mayonnaise and Margarine. I will be washing this down with 2 or 3 bottles of the famous Australian Amber Nectar:

I will be thinking of you all noshing into your customary Sunderland Dish of Tiddly-Hoggy, Savaloy and Peas Pudding and then into the pub for a Vaux's or two or three or ten.

Reckon Guus Hiddink paid the Sunderland fans the ultimate compliment when he said after Saturday's game "With crowd support like that it was like playing against 12 men on the pitch"!

Well Done Big Sam, Management, Coaches Players and the fans for a great end to a mediocre season. Surely it can only get better next season.

Well, i skipped the solids and went straight into a bottle of red wine, followed by a second bottle of red wine and some herbal medication. I can't remember much after that but woke up in a right state this morning.

A COUPLE! Hang your head in shame Gil - you're a disgrace to the regiment!<laugh>
I used to drink about 12 pints a night of my local brew (Hull Brewery Mild - it was crap) when I went home for the odd weekend back in the 60's but there were times in Sunderland when we would shift the same in the local pub (The Crow Tree) and Wetheralls Club till the early hours.

I've seen him drink mate. He's the only guy in the Chesters with his own funnel, hosepipe and jug!

Straight into his belly! Doesn't touch the sides on the way down!
