Who? The former Palermo boss has been made an offer by Leeds United's controversial owner Massimo Cellino. Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb have claimed that Giuseppe Iachini has been made an offer by Massimo Cellino. The 52-year-old, who has coached the likes of Brescia, Chievo and Sampdoria, is likely to respond to the offer at the end of the week. With Steve Evans set to depart the club, Cellino feels that Iachini would be the ideal replacement. Iachini is currently without a club after being dismissed by trigger-happy Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini back in March.
Would be the end of Bamba then http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...ar-bamba-my-time-at-palermo-is-over-1-7081684
This if true would just be Cellino sticking two fingers up and telling the fanbase to **** off. He says he is learning lessons ( Chesh and Boggers even believe him). But this is a mirror image of Darko Milanic's appointment. Another bloke that knows **** all about the championship or players in it.....
If true, and I hope it isn't, I'd hold off judging him for at least 3 to 4 months of the season. So let's see what happens
It doesnt matter 1 iota who you get Cellino will still be manager because his ban will be lifted the only thing known for certain is it will be someone who knows jack **** about English football and will be the cheapest option he can find to do his dirty work and carry the can
The chairman at Palermo is as bad if not worse than Cellino if you can believe thats possible so i would be very surprised if this guy comes to Leeds to be honest, bit like jumping out of the pan and into the fire
