It looks like there will be a lot of change taking place in the Premiership next season with 6 or 7 clubs possibly changing their manager.

Those expected to change are Man Utd & City, Chelsea, Everton, Southampton, Watford and possibly Swansea although the media are saying their manager is,staying.

That is a lot of upheaval in one close season, meaning a lot of players will be moving as well, with new ones coming in.

Together with the abundance of riches with the new TV deal there is going to be more pressure on Managers to find a hidden gem which is what we all hope Sam can pull off.
This is going to be a seriously busy close season coupled with the distraction of the Euro's taking place, then the summer transfer window is set to break all records financially. Interesting few months ahead but sadly Newcastle are not included in any of the above. Bring it on.

Why would Southampton and Watford change their managers, good seasons for those teams imo. Haven't heard anything on them changing their managers, and Guiodlin is now staying at Swansea from what I saw this morning.

Just as long as we don't get rid of Sam after a bad start to the season! I've had enough of that now.

Sam will already know who he wants and what positions he needs to strengthen, just a case of going out and getting them now and he has that extra dosh to splash so really looking forward to the new window opening.

There have been rumours about the Watford managers job for a while now which is ridiculous given their league position. Their owners seem to chop and change regularly even with success. As long as we start being stable I don't care for anyone else and whilst they all adapt to a new manager etc then we shall just carry on with our current form. Happy days.

That's a scary thought, we need to reign that in as a league... the money will not keep going up and up, BT overpaid massively for their package and they categorically will not repeat that deal and Sky won't go anywhere near those prices either.

Some clubs need to start exercising caution financially, in the next few years.

BBC website saying he could be sacked in the next few hours, nothing on the radio 2pm news about him being gone.

You don't want to keep LVG?
What about Rafa? or get Schteeve back?
In all seriousness I don't know who's big enough for the job at your place. I'm not convinced a foreign manager would fit and there are no domestic managers with the required pedigree.
    Punt on Giggs?
    DeBoer?

De Boer is nowhere near, his shoulders aren't big enough.

The number one attribute required for success at this club is the ability to develop young players. As much as Van Gaal is an idiot, some of our youngsters have flourished under him. It's the main reason I don't want Mourinho, but he's a proven winner so it's not exactly a tough pill to swallow if it happens.

Not Giggs for me, he's sat there looking like a gormless chump for the last two seasons now, instead of getting on his feet and firing into the team when under performing. He hasn't got it in him.

Poch was my choice, but now that seems impossible, I can't see past Jose, he wants the job and we need a big manager.

I've had my fill of idiots mate, time to get back to winning ways I think, starting with the FA Cup final.

Well done Louis, handshake and on your way, not a complete failure but a long way off what we need. All the best, don't fall face first down the stairs (again) on your way out.

Surely if LVG wins the FA Cup he will have to stay, even Chelski aren't that ruthless - erm OK maybe not a good example <doh>

I believe his only objective for the season was top 4.

If we fail to qualify for the Champions League (which we will now) then the deal with Adidas is worth less, the Glazers won't be happy with that.

I'd say between him and Moyes and Woodward, they've probably wiped £500m off the value of this club.

That's why Mourinho will be the target, they'll want our brand carried by somebody who knows how to win.

He probably has more chance of finishing top 4, Swansea are on a roll and surely Bournemouth will be across the road and on the beach. <laugh>

Pocc would have been perfect for United.

    Or Ancelotti. Or Conte.

I'd suggest Pelligrini by the way, and watch the other half when he took ou above them. Top gaffer.

I like him actually, but I don't think there's many miles left on him.

Ancelotti would have been nice also.

What will be will be mate, it's a sport at the end of the day, gotta take the peaks with the troughs innit.
