Is it going to be three in a day?

It's being reported that Martinez will not be in charge of Everton for their final game against Norwich on Sunday.

    Edit - He's gone.

Wouldn't bloody surprise me! 1 win in ten, only the bottom 4 have failed to win as many games as Everton, and even then Sunderland and Norwich have only won one game less this year. He's a cup manager and no more, we have a go at Bruce for 'failing' with our sqaud this year, Martinez has arguably a top 6 squad at his disposal and is miles off......

Ive said it many times on here before, I know a Wigan season ticket holder who refused to go under Martinez cos they were so ****e to watch and he longed for the days of Bruce. I've an Everton supporting mate who laughed last year when I said this.

I must drop him a line.

Can't see him being there at the start of the next season but it would be pretty poor, not to mention pointless sacking him with one game to go.

Not pointless, it's their end of season awards and they think it could turn very ugly if he's there.

Why would it turn ugly? They've had a poor season but its not been that bad two cup semi-finals and a mid-table finish, its not great but its not a disaster.

I agree he should be sacked but there's absolutely no reason or justification for things getting 'very ugly' if he attends the end of season awards.

'They think' was key in my post, I didnt say 'I think'. Dont shoot the messenger, that's the phrasing that I've seen and heard used.

I couldnt give a **** if he's sacked or not.

It wasn't his fault Ross Barkley played like a twat last night! Players never get the blame they deserve!

I agree. But everyone knows that players have the power to get a manager sacked by playing deliberately ****e, including the players themselves. The point is players wont want to do that for a manager that they think can improve their career.

If players are playing like twats then all isnt right with the manager.

Martinez card was marked once Moshiri became major shareholder.

It fills me with so much confidence that we've got 2 players from Everton's water-tight defence in England's back 4 this summer.

We'd see some decent football for the first time that's for sure, sooner him than Mclaren given a choice

Dont talk ****e. You're saying you've never seen decent football under Bruce? GTF

I think its a disgrace Martinez has been sacked. Football fans are ****ing ****ers nowadays. So they didnt do as well as they'd hoped. So ****ing what. Decent man, decent manager.
Deluded new chairman and some of their fans.

Seemingly they thought that after the last home game he would have walked his children around the pitch with the players and their children,. The fans are so disenchanted they figured it would be a good idea if that didn't happen.

If you're going to be backed with signings like Lukaku, you need to return that investment with results and Everton have been crap, particularly in the second half of this season.

He might be a nice bloke, but if someone pays you £60k a week and you **** it up, you're gone.

Cannot agree with that at all or Mclaren for that matter… he inherited a really good squad, who pitter pat the ball around and the fans have all said that Stones has gone backward under his management. Throw Baines into that scenario as well. I would like to raid Everton for Kone if Abel goes.

He's had three years and £100 million yet he's taken the club backwards, you think they can risk another few years?
