You have to feel for Blackpool now that their relegation has been confirmed. In 2010 they were promoted to the Premier League. Their near neighbours, Fleetwood, were promoted from the Conference North at the same time. Next season Fleetwood will be in a division above them.
Quite a few clubs have struggled after relegation... Blackpool another club poorly run off the pitch and it shows on it. The Pozzos like a manager or two but at least they keep the club steady..
If Sunderland win then the pressure is off Newcastle (because they'd be down) so they won't have to put a shift in against Spurs in their last game, which will probably condemn Arsenal to third. Agree with the chamber and those teams' injury records. Given the colossal amount of money at those clubs and their injury lists, why are the Foxes and Hornets leading the way on this?
Shame for the true West Ham fan that their final game at Upton Park has been ruined by thugs.. Mind you David Sullivian seemed to be blaming Man U for it because they turned up "late"
Ian Abrahams said the same about the coach being late. Pathetic. It was late because West Ham fans held it up!
Man U players posted clips on Twitter from inside the coach with the bottles hitting the windows..to be fair they were laughing about it.
They could afford to laugh as the coach bullet-proof glass. Nothing but an anti-tank missile would dent it. Apparently the launcher was on its way from Plaistow but got stuck in the crowds.
Such a contrast to the respect we gave the Sheffield Wednesday team coach a year ago. I can't believe the comment a former colleague of mine who supports WHU put on Facebook that almost seemed to condone what happened.
I've just seen the Sky trailer for the play-offs. I feel sorry for the fans of the 12 teams involved that they are involved in something that is being "advertised" by Hollowhead.
For the first time in my life I have been willing Millwall to win - what a strange feeling! I thought they were superb in the first half, but have been on the back foot since then.
