Time to think about the PL club that will be asset stripped the most this summer. I feel Everton might lose a few jewels in the crown. Over previous summerś they have done really well to resist bids from other clubs further up the PL table but after another unwhelming season, serious buyers will be circling so I thinking Stones, Lukaku, Barkley and Coleman might all be with new clubs. Some here have said Saints should purchase a new rb. How about Coleman?

 

I'd be happy with Coleman!

 

Coleman would be great, and add to our growing Irish contingent.

 

I would love to sign Coleman, and he doesn't seem to get linked with the big clubs too much these days (maybe in part because the likes of Liverpool and Spurs aren't really in need of a RB these days?, maybe in part because he's not quite hit the high levels of previous years?) which should in theory lower the competition for him.

But that said, I don't think he would see us as a big enough step up from Everton. Leicester could be an option though. I would suggest that Simpson falls into the "potential to be upgraded this summer but do we want to risk harming the team spirit by replacing too many players" category of theirs.

Mentioning Koeman as possible candidate...then adding that he has another years contract at Saints. Good of them to mention that. Not concerned though....even the Telegraph agree...pointing out that Ron should wait for Arsenal.

 

Everton have 1 win in 10 league games. Had to happen really, not sure our run was quite that bad

 

It was pretty similar around Christmas!

 

Played against him every season underage, would be a brilliant signing! He was a late bloomer, never stood out underage

 

They could do a lot worse than resigning David Moyes, and I'm usually one of those who say you should never go back. But he left, he wasn't pushed.
