OK you lovely people, I'm off to bed! Sorry Mex, I didn't realise you hated us so much! Night all Night H
HAHAHAHAH it a big problem with my old man´s side of the family. Anyways, doesn´t matter with Sunderland winning....good luck next season, we´ll probably need it more mind!
My car blew its head gasket a few months back, £2000+ lighter in my pocket, not funny eh BB, commiserations.
Good morning all from a cool and foggy Weston-super-Mare! Far too late for us to find our shooting boots, at least we know for certain now, hopefully we can put on a show at Everton on Sunday! Have a good day!
Last night was a bit of a mixed result for my family. My uncle and aunt live about 15 minutes walk from CR and he's a Watford fan. The older of my cousins also lives in Norwich and is a Watford fan. They had moved to Norwich in about 83, and my younger cousin was born in Norwich in 85, so supports them. If the travelling Canaries think Bournemouth is small, they're in for a shock when they go to Burton. The size is the sort of ground that bigger teams hate visiting in the cups (capacity of just over 6k with 3 sides terracing) but because it's relatively new it also feels like that it is a club with ambition.
Morning all from a warming and humid West West London - sorry for you loss Woody, but at least we did not doom you to the Championship.
Ni, we managed that all by ourselves, if only we had played like that with all the teams around us, we would have been safe!
Thanks Scully - the money side of it is not going to be as bad as yours, but I now have the problem of how to get to work. I work 20 miles away and there is no public transport, no work colleague nearby who can give me a lift...
Just watched the second part of Gareth Malone's Invictus Games choir. Very moving and enormously courageous all round.
My garage gives me a courtesy car for a very small charge, I had it for 10 days for the gasket. Might be worth asking?
Mine is an excellent small local garage and they only charged £20 for 10 days so I don't begrudge them that. My car has been recalled now (nothing serious but its 10 years old!) and the big boys would not supply a car (have in the past free) but they are sending a driver to get it. Big boys charge more too and always recommend repairs that are not always necessary.
The person who has fixed jerzeypie's car has been kind to him, probably because he is a friend of my sister and brother-in-law. He has only charged cost for parts, sourcing some from breakers yards (the car is a 20 year old Peugeot) and not much, if anything, for labour. This has been very good for a student, but he's coming back next week and the first time he needs to take the car to a garage on the island then it'll be a big difference.
