You made an incorrect assumption and that was the part I was talking about. This thread has got nothing to do with protecting anyone who has said anything you might construe as arrogant and everything to do with making sure those who couldn't give two hoots about other clubs and are more concerned about the mess we are in can still use the board how they want to. They shouldn't have to wade through loads of threads all covering the same topic to find the threads they are interested in. I'm sure the usual suspects will be along to give as good as they get. I'm one of those weird ones who would love all the north east clubs to be doing well. I think it helps all of us to have as many strong teams in the area as possible. Added to that is what it does to the region. I think it's something like £45 million they reckon it's worth to the local economy to have a premier league team. I'll miss the derbies and I won't pretend I wasn't gutted once I realised we'd be going down. Had a few days to let it sink in now and life goes on. Just hope those running the club make the right decisions over the summer. Get it wrong and we could be down for a long time.
