    @Skylarkted

    Yeah I think you have to be at least capable with the android set up. I'll give it a go this weekend and let you know.

    @HRH Eatcustard the 20th

    I used to do the same but didn't want to spend the money getting a new laptop so just got a tablet and now this box. It's just better for space saving and ease of use.

    Depending what's on it, and if it has the latest version of Mobdro, there should be quite a bit, it's a matter of finding the best stream sometimes. Sky ain't always it because too many people try to pile onto the same stream and then it starts buffering.

    But, your best bet is to spend time learning about what's on it. Best streams, etc. If it's like mine, there'll be a lot of content - you could spend quite a bit of time going through it all.

    I don't mind spending a bit of time initially to set it up and get the best add ons and finding the best sites.

    To be fair, don't think he'll be dipping into a bin any time soon and finding a decent freeview tv that's been discarded.

    Give it another 12 months :)

    Ok so box up and running. Mobdro is really good on there and works fine.

    Kodi and Showbox though need to be updated as they don't work and when I try to update them it doesn't work. From what I've seen I have to go to the website directly to fix this and download from there.

    I've done a few searches on how to fix it and they've not worked, the one I haven't tried is getting the update directly from the website so I'm hoping that works, I'll try later.

    Mobdro is good for getting the games on Sky and BT but Phoenix is good for the games at 3 that they don't broadcast. Get the highest broadband speed you can afford or you may experience a bit of buffering usually when a goal is about to be scored

    Download this onto your android box, lots of good stuff on there like latest movie apps not available in Google play store, also Kodi related apk's.

    In your Kodi settings download http://www.srp.nu/ to get the Super Repo with all possible Kodi updates, fixes and loads of sports addons.

    Installed a VPN and I'm done Kodi works fine, looks like my ISP was blocking it.
