    Whatever their so called reasons for moving there, it could very well blow up in their face. No way will that new stadium replicate what the crowd turned on tonight.

    Bigger mausoleum than Highbury?

    Hasn't there been a big sign up all season behind the goal advertising season ticket for £175 for adults?

    I'm sure most clubs would **** a few at that price if they had no running costs!

    from a 5-year old article. haven't checked all the figures but those i have correlate.
    Owned by Manchester City Council
    Initial build cost: £110m (£77m Sport England, £33m MCC)
    Conversion cost: £40m (£20m MCFC, £20m MCC)
    Lease: £3m MCFC > MCC 2011-20?? (match-day revenue ~£2m MCFC > MCC 2008-2011)

    Thanks - this only shows how fortunate the bubbles have been - smells of corruption within LLDC
    But they may regret playing in a half empty stadium when they normalise as next season progresses
