Nah...to outside the PL? Fine..to a club we want to go above? Before we get the actual improved replacement in? Nah.

Granted, he's not has productive has we'd like him to be..
But Lallana is one of the few players that has adapted to Klopps methods, I can't see him going anywhere.
At the very least he'll be a valuable squad player!

We should never sell anyone before having an improvement secured, unless they are having a negative influence in some way.

Of course DF - it's all about ensuring we replace him well, and I'm sure we will under Klopp.

Stylistically, Lallana suits us and I have no problems with him on the bench. But £20m for a squad player? We surely have to consider - especially if we do the unthinkable and sign Gotze.

I'd be happy with £20m for Lallana for sure, but selling him to a rival I'm not so keen on.

I didn't read article just saw Spurs? But what is it that the team that came second sees that's worth 20m? That should give us pause to sell alone. Unless they're in a dastardly plan to make us keep him lol..

Ideally LALA as backup...rotation would be a good thing because as you say it means we have brought in a serious improvement....hopefully lol

£20m for a startable homegrown squad player with 10+ goals/assists seems the going rate or better

Liverpool are the prime candidates to sign Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar, but Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are also watching the 20-year-old.

Monaco, they now Porto of France? Buy cheap and sell expensive?
Not sure Klopp will splash that much cash on any player unless he sees monumental potential and most of all the correct attitude!

I dunno.. they got lucky i reckon.... in the end they have to make ends meet too.

I've no idea if we really have been scouting like mad or if we share a scout with newkie or villa or something mad.

Gotze has apparently been told by Carlo that he won't get regular game time and its best he finds another club..

Hopefully it puts the club on red alert if true.

Test the water, offer £10m and see what happens <whistle>
