A few Villa fans I know say he is a lazy bastard,I know he went off the boil after he got caught in a lapdancing club in Brum and never really recovered getting told off for it. As he got anything left to offer West Ham and the Championship ?
I must agree, he did seem to play with a 'lazy' attitude, but nevertheless he did make an impact. As for West Ham, I think he could do useful job for them, provided he puts his mind to his work.
Should do well in the Championship, I don't think Stoke's style suited him that much, too direct and he doesn't have a lot of pace, for me he's more suited to being involved in slow build ups around the box and then drifting into the area.
We need someone in the mould of Kevin Davis,If he's up for it and his body has some juice left then great,no Stoke fan's got a review on him ?
Carew didn't have the support he needed at Stoke. made a few decent runs looked up and no one was there. Good at holding the ball up and better than Jones for that. I actually liked him but he was too expensive for how good he was!
He did alright at stoke fellas .. decent player and brings others into play very well ..... it was his wages i think but they must of been dropped by now u wud think ... 52,500 a week i seem to recall
