Another film you may have seen is 'Walter Mitty'. It's about a chap who invents a florid fantasy life for himself where he is a high achiever and a big shot. It's a bit like somebody who pretends to be a Lawyer, Rock God, Professional referee etc because in their real life they are actually a bit of an insecure attention seeker
