I don't even get why Wenger risked Wilshere in that sort of game, never mind Hodgson considering it. He's been injured all season and Arsenal can't win anything, so why not leave him out and get him fully fit for the next campaign? Defoe and Carroll being on the list definitely says its fake - he said Carroll wouldn't be in the squad just a few weeks ago, while The FA's sponsors wouldn't allow them to damage the name of Coca-Cola (or whoever) by having a Sunderland player being given a call-up.
