Just bough one of these Android boxes from Amazon that has Kodi installed. Anyone got one? Any hints or tips? Looks easy enough being delivered on Thursday so I have loads of time to set it up.
It will depend on what sort it is. Most are just plug & play with everything installed. The different stream an change. So, sometimes you're looking through trying to find the best stream to watch a game. If it's a popular game, you may get some buffering - depending on how many are trying to watch the same stream. If I'm watching mine - I have Sky too - I find Phoenix Sports is pretty good right now.
There are hundreds of different streams, Gonz. They come and go the best thing with those boxes is to just sit and go through it. Learn what's on there, etc. most of them have thousands of streams, movies, box sets etc. mine has movies like The Revenant, and more modern films on it too.
Yep, Kodi & Mobdro are the platforms. It also depends on what it's been loaded with. Mobdro is usually pretty good for loads of different sports streams. But really, it's a matter of going through it once you've got it up and running. You could spend ages going through these boxes to discover what's been loaded onto them. The one I've got, you just enter your Wi-fi code and off you go.,
I stopped the downloading thing a while back as it seemed there was a bit of a clamp down and some copyright trolling going on, Sky handed users IP's to a company who were threatening court action. It is scare mongering and trying to get money out of people but there has been some court cases. With these boxes I don't really understand the legal implications. I'm buying it from a legitimate source and using software (Kodi) that's again on a legitimate source (Play Store) what sites and add on apps are then legal/illegal? No idea, it seems things have moved on from downloading from sites like Pirate Bay and that this is a new grey area.
They'll never stop it, IMO. As fast as they try to close one avenue down another one opens. A lot of this stuff comes from Far East and Middle East sources. Mostly with commentary in English. So, even if they stop them rebroadcasting Sky Sports, people will just watch footie on another stream,,
I started this conversation on the cup final thread on our board. I was finding it so difficult to be able to watch the Europa final, I wanted mini luv to watch it and he seemed up for it for the first time. I'm in a new build and don't have an aerial, BT wanted £52 for a 1 month contract and of course the pub thing was difficult because of my youngest being 9 years old, BT Showcase isn't available on Sky either, it seems that BT have really screwed the fans so I though **** it I've tried doing it the right way and it just costs loads. I just hope it all works now and I get it up and running.
There's loads of repos for Kodi online gonz Copy and download zip files in Kodi settings for apk's like Silencerom or Animal Kodi those two are good builds and have loads of everything. Also Android boxes usually have an older version of Kodi than is currently released, http://www.alphr.com/software/1003059/how-to-update-kodi-to-v16-jarvis Download UltimateWhiteCream apk for a repo with thousands of up to date full porn movies.
I recently got the Amazon fire stick and my decorator's wife uploaded Kodi and the better sites (apps) for sports and films. Agree about Phoenix for sport and I like Exodus for films. Once you master it, you can stream all sky channels, normal tv and whatnot so you don't have to buy a TV license any more
This one looks good value - Is there any difference? https://www.amazon.co.uk/GFtime-And...700&sr=1-11&keywords=android box fully loaded
Luv when you get it can give a quick post to say how easy it is to get set up etc. I'm fairly good with this type of thing, but some of the **** I've read makes me think... is it really worth the hassle??
