I know, they just can't hold on to their players. I imagine they must be as pissed as Liverpool are with Barca, City, Chelsea or any of the other big clubs to have taken your best players away every year without fail. Apparently it's be Barca and Coutinho you'll be pissed off with this summer, just to give you a heads up
I honestly don't know why Dortmund keep doing this? Why the **** would you keep selling your best players to your title rival, We have had Gotze, Lewandowki and now Hummels switch from Dortmund to Bayern now! The ****, Dortmund? Is Arsene Wenger your manager? I'd be like "No ****ing way Hummels, you either stay here and see out your contract or you go abroad". Yeah they may lose money on Hummels if he stays and they have to let him go for nothing, but much money will they lose out on for all the trophies they are basically just conceding to Bayern by giving them their best players? 3 times in recent history, if I was a Dortmund fan i'd be more pissed at my clubs board for sanctioning this bullshit.
To be fair to Dortmund, Gotze was a release clause and Lewandowski did go after his contract is up. Only Hummels has been sold to them.
Hummels was also going to go the same way as Lewandowski - leaving on a free next year if they didn't sell him. £30m for a player who has told the club he is leaving for nothing next year would be hard for any club to turn down, particularly given Dortmund only bring in about as much money as Spurs.
So another twitter-created thread fail. What is the success rate for these so called facts that get put up? 3%? 2%? Transfer rumour thread or ban if you ask me I know it doesn't work, just stating it for the sake of consistency.
Tbf with the shame of losing to Liverpool, it's no surprise Dortmund hung their heads and let Hummels leave for Bayern
We've spent too much money on teenagers lately that I'm happy to let this one slip, especially given the amount of money these selling clubs expect. We need to start using our own academy players and not just blindly throw money at these new players. They have about as much chance of succeeding as majority of our academy.
Everytime I see this thread I read it as Renato Sandwiches and picture a nice Mexican toastie with a filling of roast beef and pulled pork fries.
Well, it seems LvG vetoed the deal to sign him in preference to 'other targets' - that sounds ominously like he thinks he's going to be here next season. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...rs-secure-in-his-role-after-manchester-unite/
He already said he would be at United next season. I doubt he would say that unless he had sat down with Woodward and they had agreed on it. Also there have been reports that Jose has been told he needs to wait another season before he gets the United job.
Seems the lad wanted to come to us - but we did a 'Woodward' and dithered for too long - http://www.skysports.com/football/n...sitated-on-signing-renato-sanches-sky-sources
From the article: Manchester United sources reiterated to Sky Sports News HQ that whilst they scouted Sanches extensively, manager Louis Van Gaal did not approve the signing, and the club therefore opted to pursue other targets instead. Well done LvG
Tbf he pulled out of the Pedro deal as well which also turned out to be a wise move. Although I do wonder if Pedro at RW would have been useful this season. Ofcourse it would've meant Mata getting completely shafted.
Tbf i think Pedro has looked quite bright when hes played for us. And if it meant outting Mata that might have been a good thing as he is in no way suited on the right wing where he's not the quickest and any modern full back who has bags of energy can take advantage of Mata who isn't the greatest defender/tracking back
But Mata isn't a right winger so, with any normal manager a new winger wouldn't affect Mata in any way.
