There's always one or two.... To be fair, most of your lads who have popped over have been very classy. There's always a fine judgement call at times like these between piss-taking/banter and recognising that people will be genuinely hurting. We'll need to have thick skins on Wednesday night and suck it up, as we know that some of our lads would have done the same. It will probably get a bit tasty when the one or two who aren't intelligent enough to be interested in banter, and just want to rub salt into the wounds, go too far as there will be a lot of hurt and frustration waiting to boil over in some people. That would apply if the boot was on the other foot too though. For now though the tin hats are on and we're ready for the onslaught

Well said - pretty much summing up my own thoughts exactly. I know we are all different and that some people enjoy the wummery, but my own feelings are that if a team (whichever team that was) was relegated I would never take the piss out of them for getting relegated when it happened. I'd hold fire and take the piss out of them for being in the championship once some of the initial hurt had died down. That's mainly because, no matter how old I get, it still hurts as much as it did when I was 8 years old and we were relegated in the 70s. I also realise that that isn't the way it goes on forums though. It won't just be mackems coming over to 'enjoy' the moment either. There'll be a fair few heading our way from all over.
