Do you mean win the League 1, Championship and Premier League with one club? - Nope, he is the only player ever to do that.

Also on this point, is there any other fans who have witnessed their club win the top 3 divisions as we have?

 

Interesting question so I had a look:

In the Premiership era, no - Man City were closest as they got promoted from the 3rd Division via the playoffs in 1998-99, won the 2nd Division in 2001-02 and the Premier League in 2011-12 (pub fact: Divisions 2, 3 & 4 were renamed Championship, League 1 & 2 in the 2004-05 season).

Outside the Premiership era the first team I could find before getting bored was Ipswich with Division 3 in 1956-57, Division 2 in 1960-61 and Division 1 in 1961-62.

King was amazing today. Delighted he scored aswell

 

Fully deserved MOTM today, he was everywhere. Would have thought it was DD in that position.

 

Good when we do have a player like DD out & we can bring in a player to slot into the same roll & who can keep up the high standard.

 

Kingy was magnificent yesterday, and only outshone by Danny Drinkwaters son.

 

Remember when we got promoted and all said he wasn't good enough?

 

Would have sold him for a relatively small amount before he'd kicked a ball in the prem, a bit more after his successful start with Hammond pre-Esteban.

Glad we kept hold of him, a great achievement for a player to have 3 tier titles with the same club.

 

Hope the media make a bit more of this as he deserves every accolade. An amazing achievement.

 

Andy King looks a better player in the Premier League to what he was in the championship, when it comes to finishing he is the best finisher we have had in a very long time.

 

Better than Mahrez and Vardy?

I'll give you that hes Leicester Frank Lampard for his attacking play from midfield and getting into good positions, but im not sure i'd class him as the best finisher we have.

 

Both of them did miss penalties

 

Yh i think King is the better finisher then both

 

I'd much rather have Vardy or Mahrez through on goal than King.

King is a better one touch finisher.

 

Having watched numerous kick abouts pre match, I think Mike Stowell is probably the finest finisher at the club.
