Back in Feb you get a touch of 1-1 Clinton and 9-2 Trump. Oddschecker now has Clinton at 4-11 and Trump at 5-2.

One thing that Trump has done, whatever your views on him, he has shaken up the political system, hopefully for good. Ted Cruz <doh> Jeesus have you listened to him and his god-fearing nonsense? To be completely honest I am more scared of these religious zealots than I am of Trump.

I saw an item on one of the news programmes the other day where the reporter went to both Trump’s Indiana event and then to the Cruz get together.

Trump was in a large auditorium that was absolutely packed so the reporter was having to stand at the back doing his piece to camera with The Donald a small figure on the stage in the background whipping up the masses like a New York Yankees home game.

When he arrived at the Cruz venue it was much smaller and there was hardly anybody there. The reporter went and spoke to some of the assembled few and found that they were almost entirely God botherers, who believed that their man was going to defeat Trump simply because He would ordain it.

It says a great deal for the parlous state of the Republican Party that the two principle candidates in Indiana were both people of whom the Party elders disapprove. Trump is appealing to the rednecks and the trailer trash, who the Republicans associate with the Democrats, whilst Cruz is too far to the evangelical right even for the right-wing establishment.

With Kasich now reportedly gone, it looks like The Donald v Clinton II.

Interesting BBC article, backing up what I said earlier about the female vote as well as Trumps woeful numbers with Black and Latino voters.

<laugh> Terminology I was completely unfamiliar with until my local cricket club started importing young pros from Down Under. The other one was having a big 'blue' on a Friday night. I initially assumed that involved mucky women too.

Puts me in mind of the twelfth man parody where Richie Benaud is having a whine about the West Indians giving each other the "high five" when the got a wicket:

"There are much more manly ways to celebrate a wicket - a lick, a grope or a bit of a dry root" <laugh> <rofl>

I know he's made it this far but surely the American public aren't stupid enough to make Donald Trump president?! It's actually a terrifying thought that he could potentially have so much power and I'd genuinely be concerned of a nuclear war breaking out with him in charge.

Trump knows there is no winner in a nuclear war and anyway it would be bad for business.

Seems Trump is pretty tame and dull compared with some of these contenders:

That Vermin Supreme video clip is really something else...<laugh>
You know, the tune (and I mean the tune, not his words) was a big hit at the Oktoberfest a few years ago. People standing on the long table benches taking-off a chicken. I remember, I declined, always fell off the bloody things.

I don't think Trump would press the button but there's huge potential for him to seriously upset one of the other loons with access to nuclear hardware.

The American mentality is something to behold. Californian meteorologist Liberte Chan forced to wear a cardigan during her presentation due to a number of e-mails complaining about her dress being too revealing <doh>

Stooopid girl should have worn a holster with a pair of six-shooters! (with or without black dress?).
