Dennis Adeniran and Ryan Sessegnon have been named in the England Under-17 squad for the European Championship Finals taking place in Azerbaijan. England's first fixture is against Sweden on Friday (6th May). They then take on France in their second Group C game three days later, before facing Denmark next Thursday. The winners and runners-up in each of the four groups will then progress to the Quarter-Finals, and onwards.
Ryan started the game and Dennis was on the bench. Unfortunately Young England lost 2-1 to Sweden this afternoon. All to play for in the next two games!
Both Ryan Sessignon and Dennis Adeniran played in England U17s 2-0 win over France this evening. From what I hear Dennis was a bit of a star. Other good news is that Tayo Edun has been called up to the England U18 squad for their double header of friendlies against South Korea next month (in Seoul on Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th June). It's an exceptional accomplishment since the lad has been out for something like 6 months after picking up a groin injury on his last international outing (missing England's World U17s Cup in the process). He came back ahead of schedule though and has played in our last three U18 games.
Both Ryan Sessegnon and Dennis Adeniran played the full match this afternoon as England U17s beat Denmark 3-1. That means they qualify and take on Spain in the quarter finals.
Both Dennis (67 minutes) and Ryan (full 80 minutes) played in the quarter final against Spain this afternoon. please log in to view this image Unfortunately Young England went down 1-0 Match report: http://www.thefa.com/news/england/development/2016/may/spain-england-report-150516
