true, just making a simple calc

now an average arsneal like... v an average west ham?

the point being its more than the rent they way by far.

Put it this way... ok theres wages but a bottle of water at the emirates is £2 massive mark up so.... you get yer average day tripper there spending a bit... well... look at the efforts in our new main stand. its a huge internal space for what? fans drinking and eating as much as poss to make as much as poss.
But yes the corporate catering is big bucks no question...

so if the council is taking none of that its a terrible deal.

this is an interesting article about the plight of Italians

    http://www.theguardian.com/football...bs-serie-a-dominate-europe-modernise-stadiums

    heres a number for you

AC milan €24.9m matchday income v Arsenal’s €119.8m per season, (includes a lot of things there i admit)

thats a gulf and it just shows what an absolute GIFT it was to west ham.

thye have in fact (despite charging a lot less per ticket) got in effect handed a £100mil revenue generator for 2.5million!!!

Fancy taking a piece of Upton Park home before it disappears forever?

No, put that spanner down - they won't let you in with it.

West Ham will be selling off seats from the Boleyn Ground for £50 each plus a host of other items in a big auction.

The Hammers' last game at Upton Park is against Manchester United on Tuesday night.

Everton were just the jelly and ice cream at Leicester's big party at the weekend, wonder if they'll be arsed trying to spoil Sunderland's staying up party this week or will the players try and put another nail in Bobby's pine box?

The owners of the property are taking all of it - to a set level.

Not unless Martinez is sacked beforehand mate.

They're tanking and it's ****ing embarrassing to watch.

They need to put the beaut out of his misery. They're only postponing the axe until the end of the season to provide a dignified exit, but it's back firing badly.

If he's still there on Sunday it's going to be embarrassing for both him and the club at the end of the game i.e. the lap of 'honour'

Nah, they get a percentage but the stadium owners LLDC get most of it.

The full details are in the document that some Charlton fans forced them to make public.

It's a cracking deal for West Ham but the main fault is with the ****ers Coe and Boris Johnson who shelved the original idea to downsize the stadium post games to an affordable 25K community stadium, to instead insist on a massive athletics stadium as a vanity project!

The SSC website has some good info on the whole episode:
    http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=610996&page=667
Page 635 is a good place to start if you are intrerested.

A link to the full document is here:
    http://queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/~/media/lldc/concession agreement 2016.pdf

Athletics has **** all money and didn't need a stadium that size. No one gives a **** except at the Olympics and World champs.

So having done that, they desperately needed an anchor tenant to help pay for it. Most tabloids just reported the headlines of West hams basic rent but the LLDC get most of the catering/drinks income and naming rights and should get around £20-25M a year which will pay for its upkeep.

It's a compromise but had to happen otherwise Coe and the floppy haired buffoon would of left us with a white elephant. The Olympics is bloated and a ridiculously expensive drain on it's hosts. Take a look at the state of the Olympic park in Athens to see how wasteful it can be.

Why do they get any percentage of the naming of a stadium they don't even own?

When it comes to any of the costs their line is "we only use it 25 days a year"

When it comes to any of the benefits their line is "we are the primary user you can't do anything without asking/paying us"

    That's fairly obvious.

As the Anchor Tenant, playing the world's most popular sport in the most watched league they bring the vast majority of the exposure.

Without them, it would be empty for all but a couple of athletics meetings and some concerts. As I said in my earlier post, without them its unsustainable.

Not saying I agree with principle of the thing but Coe and BJ ****ed us!!!

Also, thankfully there is a clause that the LLDC get a decent cut of the purchase price, if those 2 sleazy gits sell West Ham!

Hard to say that as they're clearly season ticket holders. But just not as grounded as they used to be.

So when the tossers say 12mil extra revenue from their new stadium they are actually not lying all that much.

I mean if l'arse clear 120mil matchday then what will westham be getting and what do fsg expect to pull in?

    Figured this out.

    Chelsea 70mil
    Arsenal 100mil
    Liverpool 50mil

    Matchday revenue.

Clearly lfc have some way to go with our new swish corporate stand.

West ham say 12 mil on top of 39mil so that's not even going to catch us and we have all the income in our pockets.

Not such a big deal as it sounded

I hope anfield road end is not forgotten about after the ticket price back down

    Silly boy.

You've added their extra money but not ours for our brand new stand with 9k extra and all corporate boxes.... oops.

    Apology accepted though.
