They showed one game a week free on their free channel but you can't get that che no unless you're on freebies, so if use sky you don't get it.

 

Can you stream it free on the BT Sport website?

 

On Virgin Channel 548 is called BT Sport free so it could be on that channel

On Virgin there is channel 548 which is BT Sport free guessing it might be on that. I have Virgin but with BT sports so never checked if the channel showed the free to air games

Apparently not. I assumed so, but they've not made it free to air on Sky apparently.

So it's Freeview channel 59

 

I don't have freeview but I think Sky can send me a seperate freeview card which turns my box into a freeview box. Might be getting somewhere here.

Uefa had kittens when they saw the arse drop out of the viewing figures on BT, but really, what did they expect?
They put the whole thing, CL and EL, behind a paywall, apart from a few measly crumbs thrown out on freeview.
Before, ITV had fta, and a lot of people who already had Sky didn't want to stump up all over again.

BT quality is **** as well, lagging and then jumping ahead a few seconds a few times per game.
Plus they've managed the not inconsiderable feat of assembling an even more irritating commentary team than any of their competitors.

look for the channel on other channels for sky. you might get it set up.

 

Well, that's a tricky question that should not be answered online.

 

You'll be getting all the freeview channels on the Sky platform anyway - barring the one you want i.e. BT Sports Showcase.

If you've got a SMART TV it should have freeview built in anyway?

 

I was thinking that, but I concluded his TV was smarter than he is.

 

my google says i can't get showcase on sky.

but it says any "digital tv" with an aerial should get it.

@luvgonzo there's your problem solved, stream it to a laptop and link to your TV

 

Deffo case of trying to tune to it but if you need an aerial you are screwed then cos theres shag all signal without a decent aerial.

 

I don't have an aerial so again no Freeview. I've posted on the Sky forum to see if they can send a Freeview card I should then be able to watch BT Showcase through my Sky Box I'm waiting for a reply on the Sky forums.

 

No laptop, only a tablet.

Tablet isn't MHL compatible so cannot buy a lead and plug it into the TV.
