Thought GoT was boring this week.

Except for the Tower of Joy flashback and those ****ers swinging at the end

would not go quite that far meself

After last weeks episode there were many loose ends. this was a good episode

    1. The boy king and the high sparrow is a big deal IMO

    2. Arya stark now in training. the scene itself is 5 mins? but prob covers 6 months of training in books. He does from bumbling oaf to blind ninja using the force to see the stick. she ends up better than the bully. kind of like star wars a new hope with obi wan in the back of the falcon teaching luke with the helmet on. This is accelerating her trianing story. I don't know if she will be made deaf or not next but I can see her now being given another assasination so this is a necessary bridge to the future

    3. the little council meeting is a political element thats needed. how can lannisters have so little power.. what will occur next?

    4. rickon stark handed over by potty mouth umber is huge. now its clear there is VERY LITTLE support there for anyone but bolton so I'm assuming that we will see bascially bolton torture and kill the boy so unlucky acting role there bud... not a great role to land. Its clear karstark and umber and just complete turds so they won't turn away. ery little hope of rescue here but perhaps... well we will see ;)

    5. Jon snow.. key scene for the red withc. jon sees nothing bejyond. this will be crucial going forward. He deals with the clean up and is now out of blakc watch as all expected

    6. blondie is a complete waste of another season. I don't care i don't want to even see her bits. this just a never ending holding pattern with her.

    7. the bribe scene for info was rather pointless as was the scene with tyrion. that was oh rich guys in another city are doing it.. .well.. DUH.... there is nothing much they can or will do. its a giant holding pattern.

    8. the bran vision. you will know EVERYTHING... grand but kind off.. spoils a potential spin off series this but fine on you go. we get the entire prequel as seen by bran. we are told he will not remain in the pokey with a tree growing through him... great.. fix his back then... jeez. this should be fun though...

    9. fat guy on his way home.. **** knows whats going to happen there.

Theres a lot now set up. winterfell looming for yet another bolton butchering... the king and the high sparrow... jon snow is on the march... wheres he off to.. will yet another stupid stark.. oops just missed you story evolve.

Enjoyed that episode, not massively action packed true, but key developments happened and it's building some nice tension for the later more epic episodes to come
loved the TOJ flashback scene ... was like that little viral vid that's going around 'if GoT was made in the 90s'

I disagree a little here. We all knew where everything was headed at the end of the second episode and they dragged it out in this ep too. Look at Tyrion olfor example, his scenes in eps 1 and 3 have been pointless, time that could be spent speeding up certain plots. The one part that keeps pissing me off though is the continued killing of Direwolves off screen. I wanted to see them stand side by side with Jon in the big battle v Whitewalkers etc. Rickon must be odds on to die now imo.

The entire meeren storyline IMO is a complete waste of time. its a 7 series holding pattern!

the thing about killing kids nobody cares but kill a direwolf on screen and PETA will close you down. <laugh>

Agree. The Daenarys storyline imo is dead. She's only important because if her dragons. I'm serious though about the Direwolves. I always imagined Jon battering Ramsay and unleashing his hounds on Jon with the Direwolves turning up just in time and ripping them apart with Ghost ripping Ramsays throat out on Jons command. I think last nights episode confirmed that the Hound is still alive too, at least I hope so.

I didnt even realise they showed it on Sky Atlantic at 2am (why would I?).
The main reason I download it is so that if I watch in Monday morning I can watch it on my PC or tablet whenever I want with headphones so I dont wake my girls up
and if I watched it in the evening I would have to wait till the missus went to bed to get access to the TV, as she watches a slew of Bullshit in the evenings like Corrie, Eastenders, etc, so having it on my PC just makes it easier.

Well I naturally wake up around 5:30am-6am, unless I have been out on the sauce the night before, and I don't start work till 8am, and it takes me half hour to shower and get dressed, then I am sat around bored for an hour/90 minutes before I start work, so I may as well do something.

Got to be early doors Monday morning for the fresh GoT viewing

Spoilers are fair game from midnight Monday into Tuesday onwards, if you haven't seen it by then you can't call yourself a fan

    yup agree with this <ok>
For me, once it has aired 9pm Monday on Sky Atlantic, spoilers are fair game.
Like you say, if you cared that much you'd have watched it by then.

And if, by some extenuating circumstance you haven't watched it, just steer clear of Social Media till you have. Shouldn't be for everyone else to walk on Egg shells around you for the case of a damned TV show.
