I do try. Supposed to be marking this last sixth form essay... So finding YouTube clips is v v v appealing right now.
Just got in, long day after the ticket stuff and both coaches being delayed (one back by an hour and half!!) So just 4 words before i hit the sack... I. ****ing. Love. Football! Will read through n comment more tomorrow
Agree with previous thoughts, as they showed the 8 Saves on MOTD2 I said 'what about Forster's one against Arsenal away?' Of the ones on the list I'd ahve gone for the Hart free kick save....only one that wasn't just down to instinct but took a lot of goalkeeping skill to get to
Yeah, I thought that save of the season list was a really poor selection. I swear De Gea made better saves against us than the one that won it. i doubt that was Butlands best save of the season either.
I thought that Schmeichel's or Hart's was the best of that particular bunch, but I've seen better from this season. Frankly, it felt like it was a fixed bunch of keepers and the voting was rigged. Honestly, I wouldn't let the public vote on these things. They just vote for their man, irrespective of the quality. It's why, for example, Jack Wilshere has won the last two Goals of the Season. Rigged by Arsenal voters.
I'll tell you what, I'll do this much for you. If I find it, I won't tell you. Now you can't do fairer than that, can you.
Just thinking that if we want a team of Thunderbirds we need to get a Scott, Alan, Gordon and John. Who's eligible and good enough out there.? It ought to be easy enough after filling the toughest name on the list.
Well we already have Brains (Koeman) Off the top of my head - Scott Parker, Alan Shearer, Gordon Banks and John Terry. Ok the last one is ridiculous
I am a big protector of Fraser, however he made a pig's ear out of that silk purse ... or whatever it is
Yeah right!!! You probably didn't see them and we all know that you can only give what you see* * or choose to
His save at Old Trafford won us the game... you know, the one from Danny Blind's 25 yard pile driver ....
Also the defence completely switched off, then virg flew in, then fonte fell over, and the midfield were nowhere to be seen, yeah not great all round.
The silly thing about the whole save of the season scenario is the fact that the last few games are ignored to be able to put the list together. You could argue Boruc's penalty save could have been included. It was a bit like the goal of the season competitions which used to miss the last weekend when the FA Cup final was not shown on the same channel as the Premier League. Don't get me started on the fans voting in competitions like this, it is beyond the ridiculous.
