I see that Rathnure Rebel is running in the bumper at Roscommon.

I'm off to Brighton tomorrow. As ever, any helpful suggestions on the investment front much appreciated.

Lovely day in prospect for a trip to the seaside. Not sure I'd bother with the racing though. Enjoy your day Harbottle.

Cheers Chan. It's not a great card is it? Still, a winner's a winner, as no doubt Thomo will be burbling tomorrow.

In the 3:20 i'd have to give Silver Alliance a chance at nice price, currently 7/1 on PP

I think I actually agree with Chan and that with the weather expected the racing could spoil a perfectly good day at the seaside.

A few suggestions as you ask, but to be fair I can't really think of a compelling reason you should take any notice of them.

    1.50 Bonnie Arlene
    2.20 Bahamian Boy
    2.50 Subtle Knife
3.20 Inniscastle lad ( Nap and about only decent bet I would have)
    3.50 Glasgow Central (next best)
    4.20 Lutine Charlie
    4.50 Pandar

    Hope you enjoy your day.

Cheers Smokey and Bluesky. I shall certainly bear your sage advice in mind. Fingers crossed. I'll have a good day whatever happens.

Not an easy race to risk a huge win bet on fusion. The favourite looks pretty strong and I also like the look of Lillian a decent price at 9/1. No bet for me though so best of luck with yours mate

Similar betting patterns to this trainer/jockey winning combo yesterday on Gaelic Myth. Plus both has entries in races in the next 2 days which hints at striking whilst the iron is hot. Kilty Cauls Mark has been dropping and like Gaelic Myth yesterday the money seems down. We will see if all of this is coincidence or not later!

Lets go. 7/2. The signs are much better today, Nina up, step up in trip, pipe opener the last day. The Mullins and Elliott horses ahead in the market look very average to me. If the Rebel's even at 80% he wins this by a long way.

Hello, hello, hello. I don't know about you types but I really liked Humph Bogart on Saturday and if he was mine, and the old boy was tickety-boo come supplementary time, I'd certainly raid the old vault and stick in him Epsom's finest. The distance is no problem and neither is the track (did the lovely Ems really ask Dickie Hannon junior, on Saturday, if Hump would act around Epsom?!? Oh dear!). Something that you can't say about 75% of the animals who will take part!

No bet for me but talking of Brighton, I note, the horse named after one of my fave Bond villians runs in the card commencer at the venue. Not that forumites place bets on the animal with the loveliest name. No, no, no, no, no. Deffo not!

    Good luck all.

Queen Olivia 8/1 in the 8 00 T --unexposed chaser from sherwood's yard-form of her last race has been franked , she by contrast has been off since , but never a worry from this yard and seems a good chance he has got her in a race full of exposed types, with bottom weight , good ground and l Aspell to do the steering .

7/2 didn't last long. Just watched his point, very impressive. The horse who is with the Skeltons is a pretty useful yardstick.

The Hillsborough documentary from last night on BBC2 is heartbreaking television. It should not have been shunted on BBC2.

Kim Bailey's record at Towcester would be enough for me to have a bet on this horse alone. He does have a great blog on his website that will probably give you a fair indication of the expectations today.

Off to Heidelberg and Walldorf tomorrow for 3 days to chat to the software supplier who you see plastered all over the boards at the Etihad.
They call it an Operations Expert Summit; I won't reveal what I call it!
I wonder if I will get a chance to pay a visit to the following cultural establishments? I certainly hope so.

    Just one for me.
    Dark Confidant, 3.00, at Wolverhampton.

Yes, yes, I know, hardly original for me. However, the thing that interests me is not the pilot, it's that this opened at 33-1 and has steamed right in.
Now that Swirral Edge is a NR, I think this is wide open, so I'm having a go.
