Perhaps we'll also have a Tuesday night match at Barnsley to look forward to (or hated Millwall).

Why do teams get a trophy for finishing second?

Some West Ham bloke on the radio (Gold or the other one) pretty much blamed it on Man U for getting there late.

They did the same away to Spurs, game delayed there as well. Don't think it would get delayed if it was at Old Trafford. United had been told to arrive early because of the traffic/people because of tonights event. Arrogant ****'s, hope they lose.

I don't normally get my car smashed up when I'm late for work.

1-2 Utd - it's all gone tits up for the Hammers, although the scoreline could easily have been reversed if Martial had not been on the line a bit earlier to clear Andy Carroll's header from a corner.

    2-2 now!

3-2 fairy tale ending? (Winston Reid)

    West Ham 3-2 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford has a shot blocked and then West Ham counter, with a four-on-three but Manuel Lanzini can't dig out a pass.

    Superb...

What a turnaround! Another superb ball in from Dimitri Payet, Winston Reid is ahead of Daley Blind and his header beats David de Gea!

De Gea got a hand to that, a BIG hand too, but he couldn't claw it out.

Antonio Valencia is on a yellow card and is late again on Aaron Cresswell, Mike Dean lets him off with a final verbal warning. It's another free-kick though...

There could well be more goals in this one, it's frantic and stretched.

GOAL West Ham 2-2 Man Utd
    Michail Antonio

Pick that one out! Dimitri Payet scuffs a free-kick into the wall but he is able to get the ball back, lift his head and then float a cross onto the head of Michail Antonio, and his header is superb. Right into the top corner.

    What a game!

West Ham have had 16 shots on goal, Manchester United three. But Anthony Martial has made the difference so far.

KN: What a goal from Matial! He is a special talent.

Vieira151: Martial is worrying me. He is going to be something else in a year or two. Though GK did move out of the way there.

    West Ham 1-2 Man Utd

Sir Trevor Brooking: "Randolph should have been covering the near post. For me a goalkeeping error. A soft goal but a really good counter attack."

West Ham must be wishing they had turned up against Swansea last Sat.

Wonder how our last match at Loftus Road will go?

Craig Forrest, an excellent, knowledgeable football panel commentator here made the trip over from Canada for tonight's final match. He likely relished the fairy tale 3-2 comeback match result after his own past goalkeeping encounters with Man Utd.

"He was the unfortunate goalkeeper on the receiving end of the heaviest Premiership defeat in history when Ipswich lost 9–0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in March 1995."

"Forrest signed for West Ham United in the summer of 1997 for £500,000.[3] Forrest played a number of first-team games in the FA Premier League in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the east Londoners, remaining at Boleyn Ground until his retirement from football in 2002. On 1 April 2000 he was again the goalkeeper for a big defeat by Manchester United. Although West Ham scored first, the game finished 7-1 to Manchester United.[4]"

Unfortunately it is now raining on their post match parade celebrations.

Our own Phil Parkes arrives on the field in one of the many black cabs, along with Martin Peters.

    Now Rob Green.

...and a Bobby Moore clip scoring a goal against us.

Nothing like the W@@kfest that SKY did tonight. When we finally move into Tony's ''Pie in the sky' stadium we will be lucky if we get 30 secs coverage. Maybe we can borrow Phil Parks for one of those Sky moments? Oops i forgot he did it for West Ham tonight. I guess we can always get "clappy Mackie' to shed a few tears. If not Lily Allen is always a good bet for crying at a football match.
